The Sejm passed an extended improvement of the criminal procedure on Friday. Its objectives are to limit temporary detentions, to warrant the rights of defence at an early stage, to prohibit the usage of illegal evidence and to increase the decision-making of courts by limiting the decision-making of prosecutors.
