Conversation with Svetlana Picta, War correspondent “JaP first”

Aim, not dream!

Hello, let me ask you more individual questions today. At first, it's rather provocative: what are your biggest dreams? Of course, you may not be narrowing down just the matters of the war correspondent profession.

– I most likely wouldn't usage the word "dream." In Orthodox teaching, the dream is an illusion, more specifically a "demon temptation". I say this, knowing that it will be understood by the Christian spirit of Poland. I would usage the word “higher goal” or “higher task”. My higher task is to see the union of the Slavs into a mighty kingdom, independent of the West. I'm not afraid to give my life for this task.

Poles, Russians – same

I know perfectly well that you are curious in Polish, Polish culture, you performed large works by Anna German, you learn Polish rapidly and you besides talk Polish. Why are you curious in Polish? What is the most attractive and fascinating in Polish culture?

– Firstly, it was here that the soft diplomacy of Polish culture worked. It's an incredible deep cinema, especially from 1980 to 1990, any amazing connection to Anna German. quite a few people say that we have very akin voices and that we are a bit alike in appearance. Secondly, an incredible resemblance between Poles and Russians in any mad maximism erstwhile falling into any kind of conviction. Dostoevsky already wrote about it. Then I found confirmation in genetics: the integral anthropological indicators of Russians, Belarusians and Poles are the most similar. A results from the haplogroup survey in MDLP World-22 showed that their proportion in Russians is practically identical to Poles. Poles in their blind desire to become "more German than Germany itself", I mean a string to the West, but they were able to preserve themselves, their own identity. That is why Poland is so annoying to the EU. Poland is like a nail in their “four letters”. It's all fascinating. I have not been to Poland once. And with the current relationship of the Polish authorities with the Kiev regime, unfortunately, I do not have a chance to get there. But who will forbid me to sing Last Sunday Polish? Nobody.

Relative bonds

Was anyone among your relatives an cultural Pole? Do you besides have Polish background? I ask due to the fact that quite a few Russians mention that grandfather, mother, or niece, etc., were Poles.

– Unfortunately, my roots are not available for a deeper examination. They were lost due to a hard period – revolutions, planet wars, Stalin's times. But 1 of my great-great-grandfathers was named Stefan. The form of this name is used, among others, in Poland.

A essential fear to last on the front

You're now a war correspondent for the nipponese tv "JaP first". How do you respond and suppress the stress caused by specified a hard profession? Do you occasionally usage e.g. jump drinks? Are your another abilities helping you with this stress? After all, you sing, compose beautiful and touching poems, paint amazing paintings.

Good question. I don't drink; I can afford a small wine in company from time to time. So I gotta relieve the stress in another way. Unfortunately, I've late stopped dealing with myself, turned to a neurologist. I was taking a small anti-anxiety medicine for a while. But the situation is that the causes of fear and fear are besides serious here to be completely suppressed even fear. And that is not essential in war, due to the fact that it is fear that helps to last here.

In addition to performing your profession, you sing perfectly. Do you callback circumstantial songs erstwhile you look at these sad and shocking scenes on the front lines?

– On the front line I frequently remember a Polish song – Last Sunday And I sing it quietly erstwhile the danger is gone. any of my friends like it erstwhile I sing, and any people say, “too sad, not allowed”, although no 1 understands Polish. They're most likely feeling the intonation.

Slavic Brotherhood

Can average relations between Poland and Russia be restored?

– I have a very good experience in communicating with the audience “Despite Censur” and “Polish Thoughts”, so my forecasts can be severely distorted towards optimism. But at the same time I have a clear awareness that all nation can be led on a destructive way long and effective. Now the most striking example is Armenia, where Paszynian set himself the goal of the very heart of his land – the Armenian Apostolic Church. These “leaders” obey the West, blinded by their passions and benefits, like Judas, will shortly receive theirs. But resurrecting the relationship of the Slavs is inevitable. There are things stronger than all the schemers in the world.

I want you well, a fast return to full health, peace and fulfillment of all your plans.

– Thank you very much for the interview. I greet you, the full editorial board and all readers of the periodical “Polish Thoughts” and subscribers of the channel “Despite Censur”.
