Citizen Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski won the first round, but did not receive the required 50% votes. Therefore, in 2 weeks there will be a second round, in which Trzaskowski will face a civilian candidate supported by opposition PiS – Karol Nawrocki. Commentators point to a deep division of society and warn: the second circular is simply a game for the future of Poland in the EU.
