The PKW is no longer expected to be examined by a candidate wishing to compete in the 2025 presidential election.
PKW refused to registry 4 out of 17 candidates, including on Friday – candidate of the Polish Repair Movement Romuald Starosielc and entrepreneur Paweł Tanajno. On that day she registered writer Krzysztof Stanowski.

Official presidential candidates are possible by submitting a candidate to PKW and providing a minimum of 100,000 signatures of support.
The presidential election will be held on 18 May this year, and the eventual second circular – 1 June.
