In Poland intensive preparations for presidential elections are underway. 3 main figures participate in the race for President's seat: Rafał Trzaskowski, Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen. The polls show that the biggest rivalry takes place between the PiS candidate and the Confederate candidate, who are fighting for a second position.
In this context, Beata Lubecka in Radio Zet asked Margaret Paprocka who she would put Andrzej Duda on. The head of the President's Chancellery left no uncertainty as to who the president supports.
Who will Andrzej Duda support in the election?
Beata Lubecka straight asked Paprocka whether Andrzej Duda would support Sławomir Mentzen as a presidential candidate. fresh polls indicate that the Confederate candidate has a good chance to advance to the 2nd round. The President's Chancellery head in consequence recalled that the president had already spoken on this subject respective times.
– He spoke respective times in public statements, to which the candidate is closest to him in terms of his view of the state, values and consistently pointed out the president of Karol Nawrocki – said Paprocka.
However, in an interview with a journalist, she admitted that she was afraid about whether the change of president at the Presidential Palace would run smoothly. Paprocka suggested that the situation may be complicated due to political disputes and "laws" concerning the ultimate Court House, which states the validity of the elections.
– Here are very serious reefs ahead of us, in the context of not recognising the ultimate Court home in the necessity to establish the validity of the elections," she stressed.
When Lubecka asked if this meant that she felt that if Rafał Trzaskowski had not won, the validity of the election could have been undermined by the Tusk Government, Paprocka replied evasively:
– After all, we see what is happening and I perceive to reports. We're looking at the end of the campaign. But there are certain dangers.
