The time of decision is coming and it is us Poles who have the voice. It's a privilege, and it's worth it. – We have a very crucial day ahead of us. June 9th, let's all go to the election – calls vocalist Patrycja Markowska.

As crucial as the election day of MEPs will be for Poles, we will see. At the moment, predictions of participation in elections are not encouraging, which even for politicians is understandable.

Poles and Poles are tired of various elections – admits Deputy Marshal of the Sejm and MP of the fresh Left The Wizard. After a evidence turnout in the autumn parliamentary elections, much lower in the spring municipal elections, subsequent elections may turn out to be a turnout failure.

It cannot be that Poland will have the lowest attendance in these elections and that our Euro MPs, our Euro MPs, our voice in Brussels will be treated as the weakest of all Europe. – says Marshal of the Sejm Simon Holovnia. In the first years of Poland's membership of the European Union, attendance in the Euro-elections was very low. In 2004, somewhat over 20% of those entitled to vote voted, in 2009 it was 24.5 percent and in 2014 it was 23.8%. Only 5 years ago, attendance moved somewhat and amounted to almost 46 percent. And these upcoming elections are absolutely crucial for Europe.

We make our choice: either we want to proceed to build a common, integrated, secure, Europe of prosperity, or we want to disintegrate it, break it down into national states and unfortunately get closer in terms of governance, towards Russia – emphasises Michał Wawrykiewicz, Citizen Coalition candidate in the Europarliament election. Elections are besides crucial due to Russia's possible aggression. – It will be for this word of office that the Joint Commissioner for Defence, the defence budget of the European Union, is determined whether it is to open up to this full broad safety aspect. This is where we're gonna talk about how we're gonna face a threat from the east together. – points out the talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia. Active and determined politicians cannot be denied. Throughout Poland, regardless of political colours, they encourage to go to elections.

Convince, persuade, and reiterate, mobilize to participate in elections – says Michał Wawrykiewicz. They encourage different generations and different organisations, as well as average citizens. – The most crucial thing is for us to realise that the European Union is not an external being, but that is actually our reality. We are part of this Union and we want to be – says Jessica Koczwara from the “Girls for Elections” Association. There are various arguments: economic, legal, cultural.

More and more law is being created in the European Union. – comments Waldemar Buda. – This election is about us Polish women having precisely the same rights as Spanish women as German women. – notes Joanna Scheering-Wielgus, Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage and candidate of the Left in the elections to the Europarliament. – It frequently turned out that it was the European Parliament that ensured that the law adopted was as pro-citizen as possible – notes Alexander Krzysztoszek from Euractiv Poland and Stefan Batory Foundation. It does not substance who will represent us in this Union.

There you request people to fight, people to be consistent, people who for many years, for many decades, represent the same course – says the president of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński. – In fact, we have a fight between 2 worlds, 2 cultures, a fight between 2 civilizations. – concludes Vladimir Czarzasty.
