The European Parliament in Strasbourg adopted a resolution - the Polish Shield of the East is to be a common European task and will so be financed by the full European Union. The Union recognises that the defence of the Polish border is crucial to Europe as a whole. The majority of MEPs voted. Among those who opposed were Members of Law and Justice.
