The Sejm supported further work on the civilian bill on spiritual lessons and ethics in schools. any members of the ruling coalition voted for further work, which sparked an avalanche of comments on the network.

According to the project, 2 compulsory hours of religion or ethics in schools are to be introduced. To reject the task at first reading was called on by the Left, with the vote cast by 191 Members, 231 opposed and 4 abstained.

All the PiS voters voted in favour of further work, as was the case with the Confederacy and PSL-TD, as well as 8 of the 28 Polish 2050-TD Members (including the talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia).

Extreme opinions of politicians

The chief of the MEN in bitter words summed up the results of the vote. – Meanwhile, PSL and part of the 3rd Way together with PiS and Confederacy want to work on forced spiritual lessons at school and kindergarten – he tweeted.

But the politicians of the Law and Justice were not happy. The coalition yet began to fall apart on 13 December. They lost to the president and citizens in the Sejm – they failed to reject the presidential bill on building a real CPK or civilian on returning religion to schools. Tusk just lost the seismic majority. He will lose power soon... – wrote erstwhile Deputy Minister of Justice Marcin Warchoł.
