Under the adopted resolution, the government authorized the Minister of National defence and the Minister of Finance and Economy to sign an agreement regarding the SAFE mechanism, which is intended to supply additional funds for the implementation of key projects related to the safety of the state. At the same time, further actions were announced to get financing besides for another services liable for security, including the Police, the Border Guard, and the State Protection Service. The planned investments will besides include the improvement of transport infrastructure – both road and rail – which is strategically crucial from the position of defense.
