From 19 to 22 June 2025, the 11th Polish Sokolat in Brodnica was planned to become the center of the falcon celebrations of the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław Chrobry. The event, which was covered by the patronage of the president of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, is expected to be a unique vacation of Polish tradition, culture and sport.
XI The Polish Sokolts' gathering is an event organized for the first time in 19 years, it refers to the tradition of the erstwhile reunions, especially the celebrations in 1925 in Poznań. In 2025, Zlot is called “Chrobrowski”, which emphasizes its historical significance.
The participants of the event will have a variety of programs, starting on 19 June with a commemorative academy, during which the most well-deserved friends from all over the country will be distinguished. On Friday, June 20th, a Mass was planned for Sokolcy, a parade through the city and gymnastic shows at the stadium. In the afternoon, an global conference on the past of TG “Sokol” will be launched. A day later, June 21st, sports competitions will take place, including gymnasium competition for children and youth, table tennis tournaments, shooting competitions and another disciplines, completed with a ceremony of honors for athletes. Sunday, June 22 is simply a guided tour of Brodnica and planet Sokol Federation, which will item the global dimension of the event.
The Zlotu organization is the fruit of cooperation between the City of Brodnica, the Institute of National Memory and the Association of Gymnastic Societys “Sokol” in Poland. On January 29, 2025, a letter of intent was signed, which provided the basis for this prestigious event.
We invitation all friends and Sokolcy sympathizers, as well as lovers of history, culture and athletics to participate in XI Zlota. It is not only a vacation falcon, but besides an chance to build a falcon community and strengthen the bonds between generations.
Specially prepared for the convention was a commemorative badge which can only be acquired by participants of the convention in Brodnica.
