Seniors will be able to become contract soldiers during martial law, which will not be over soon. However, they must get a medical commission’s ruling that they are fit for service. The commander of the unit should besides agree to accept the elder to his unit. A 60-year-old may even become an officer if approved by the General Staff or another applicable military authorities. The Act specifies that contracts will be concluded for a year, with the anticipation of being extended for subsequent years. The advanced limit of the century has not been determined.
