25 years ago, the Football Football Club of hard Saints was established. The single-section sports association since its inception has been based on the engagement of soldiers of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade. The club's jubilee footballers, including 12 soldiers, celebrated promotion to the 4th league. At this level, Hardy will execute after a 15-year break.
– Before the game began, we assumed that we were playing for the highest goal, which is for promotion. I am very glad that we have implemented the plan and, on the occasion of the club's jubilee, we have tried to return after years to the 4th league. We turned out to be the best in the territory class and, what is worth noting, in all the games we did not lose any match on our own field, says Colonel Mariusz Bolecki, president of the Football Club Hardy Świętów.
In period 2024/2025 team from Świętszowa in the territory class competitions (Jelenia Góra group) scored 70 points out of 90 possible. The tough guys won 21 wins, tied 7 games, and suffered 2 defeats in distant matches. Footballers from the vacation squad scored 74 goals and lost 34. The military were the only undefeated squad in the spring round. The most effective scorer was Piotr Skiba with 22 goals in the account. The list of shooters included 12 more football players: Marcin Łojko (12 goals), Patryk Uczała (10), Kamil Skiba (6), Wojciech Dawidowicz (5), Dariusz Piechowiak (4), Kamil Malaszewski (4), Emilian Kiciński (3), Norbert Medyk (2), Marcin Piaśnik (2), Erik Kliwak (1), Konrad Sindrewicz (1) and Kacper Brzezicki (1). – It is simply a pity that in the last 3 meetings due to injury our best shot could not occur. Peter had a good chance to be the winner of the territory class scorer classification,” added the president.
For promotion after 15 years to the 4th league he led Hard Team head coach Sławomir Iskrzak, who performed as a player in the celebratory team's colours in 2003–2010 (with a break in the 2008/2009 season) and 2013–2018 (with a break in the 2016/2017 spring round). The taste of promotion from the territory class was met as a player, and now as a trainee. The tough 1 won a pass to the 4th league after winning territory class competitions for the 2014/2015 season. In the following season, the military led by coach Jakub Wołyński advanced to the 3rd league. After a year of playing at this level of the game, they avoided falling. However, the club's modest budget did not let Hardy to compete effectively with richer teams from larger cities and in the following period – 2011/2012 – activists from Świętszów after 3 queues had to retreat the squad from the games. That meant a two-class degradation.
Tough is an different football team. It is hard to find akin ones in Poland. Military in the club's 25-year history, although they performed in the III league arenas, never fell from the 4th league and territory class. From the 3rd league they were demoted by 2 classes of competitions, and from the territory class they never fell as a consequence of occupying "relegated" seats in the competitions. For the first time Hardy advanced to the territory class in 2006 and has never since fallen from that level. It was besides degraded twice: in the fall of 2016, after withdrawing from the games after the 4th circular and after the withdrawal, after the fall circular of the 2021/2022 season. In contrast to quitting playing in the III league, the reason for withdrawing from competition for points in the territory class was primarily problem to complete the full lineup. A squad of soldiers, faced with staff problems erstwhile footballers serving mainly in BKPlac 10 could not power Hardy due to their duties.
In the 2024/2025 season, 9 soldiers performed in Hardy's colours with 10 BKPanc and 3 of the 43 Military economical Branch in Świętszów, as well as 8 civilians. “We effort to strengthen the elder squad with civilians to avoid human resources problems. We systematically introduce to the first squad of pupils. 1 of them, Norbert Medic, scored, for example, 2 crucial goals in a match against the Sudecki Horseman," the club president emphasized. Lt. Col. Bolecki hopes that for the fresh period he will be able to strengthen the 4th league squad and adds that the ball in Świętoszów is not only a elder team. – We have teams of leprechauns, frogs, eagles and young people. Many of the children of professional staff play in them – adds Colonel Bolecki.
