Slovenia strengthens anti-aircraft defence

The Slovenian Ministry of Defence ordered the IRIS-T SLM fire unit from Diehl Defence in January 2024 for a full of about EUR 146 million. The transportation is scheduled for 2027 and will include a command post, a radio station, 4 anti-aircraft missiles, a supply of ammunition and logistical support. This will let for a diametric improvement of the capabilities of Slovenian anti-aircraft (which has at most outdated Roland II systems).
