The Sejm adopted a resolution on condemning the statements of the Holocaust denial. The paper referred to the statements of Euro MP Grzegorz Braun, who questioned the existence of gas chambers in the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.
For the voted resolution referring to the behaviour of Grzegorz Braun 399 Members spoke out, and the other was three. No parliamentarians abstained. After the vote, there were applause in the parliament room.
The Sejm responds after Braun's scandalous words
The resolution refers to 1 of the statements Grzegorz Braun "In particular, the repulsive and worthy of unanimous condemnation of specified action was 1 of the last public statements by the Euro MP Grzegorz Braun, in which he committed himself disgraceful denial of the existence of gas chambers in the German Nazi Auschwitz-Birkenau camp".
The Sejm urged all Polish citizens to reject the attitude of indifference to the historical lie that is negationismand the state and local authorities to commemoration of victims German crimes and to uphold historical truth About the extermination camps.
