You're always a GROM man. This remains in the heart of each of us. Especially erstwhile it's called silent. Our patrons can no longer be with us, but this communicative is not over. all year there are more silent ones. There are about 250 of them in active service each year, who, as before, are subjected to the only Polish military selection process and exceptional training. After its completion, little than 10% of candidates become heirs to the legendary silent. Today, we will welcome others to our ranks.
You're here today, where you belong. By your efforts, you have proved that you have earned the name of silent. But it's not a reward that crowns this effort. It's a work that requires you to prove all day that you're worthy of being quiet. It's a work to do what's yours erstwhile you request it. So as to be worthy of the heir to silent acts.
It would seem that now that we've welcomed the others in our ranks, we're all set. Unfortunately, among us there must be no physical failure and those who died during combat training. There are besides no friends with us who have run out of time. But remember, they will always be present in our thoughts.
There is no better chance than your vacation and the feast of your unit to honor those whose efforts, attitudes and sacrifices have been noticed by all of us through the GROM badge.
Today the Unit is part of a complex mechanics to defend the Homeland. You besides are part of this mechanism. The unit is 10 times larger than at the time of its formation, it is equipped with the latest equipment and means of survival. But people are the most important. People with initiative, will and perseverance, continuing to build the Unit and its capabilities. People who search and implement fresh tactics, techniques and procedures and guarantee that individual elements are made up of a single mechanism. So that the Unit continues to adapt to fresh challenges and keep a advanced readiness for the tasks we carry out and will carry out.
Unit past doesn't start erstwhile we come, and it won't end erstwhile we go. We are the continuations of the effort of all those who built it before us, after us will be more. And how pioneers will break through the walls of inability. All to make the Unit ready to call.
Great respect for predecessors, those who are already out of service, but besides large respect for all the Unit's supporters and friends who make an atmosphere for its improvement and supply applicable assistance, and for all volunteers who, while already being reserveists, volunteer again for service and training.
Soldiers and employees of GROM, both in and out of service, is your holiday. I want all of you, through your hard work and sacrifices, to have the satisfaction that thanks to you the Unit is what it is today.
