During the 3 years of the war, Ukraine paid abroad arms dealers $770 million advance payments to acquisition weapons and ammunition that were frequently not delivered at all, only partially or proved to be useless. This is simply a crucial part of Kiev's yearly defence budget, which amounts to $6 to $8 billion.
