Safety first – soldiers from CPdMZ educate children and youth as part of the task "Education with the Army"

As part of the nationwide task "Education with the Army", soldiers from the Centre of Preparation for abroad Missions conducted classes for students of Primary School No. 39. Stanisława Moniuszko and Primary School No. 12 of Westerplatte Heroes in Kielce.

The main nonsubjective of the class was to rise children's and young people's awareness of safety and to teach them the applicable skills needed in crisis situations.

Soldiers, based on their experience and knowledge, provided students with key information on emergency response, first aid, rules of conduct in the event of natural disasters, as well as familiarizing the function of the Polish Armed Forces and the tasks they carry out during regular service.

The classes were interactive and students had the chance not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but besides to take part in applicable exercises.

Thanks to this form of education, children and young people could learn how crucial it is to act rapidly and effectively in crisis situations.

The "Education with the Army" project, carried out on the initiative of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of National Education, aims to form liable attitudes, make awareness of threats and rise students' interest in defence and safety topics.

Soldiers from CPdMZ, as specialists in preparation for service under hard conditions, not only conveyed valuable knowledge, but besides built a relation with the young generation, inspiring them to make liable attitudes and preparedness to respond to crisis situations.

Both schools were enthusiastically active in training, and their commitment and willingness to gain cognition showed how crucial specified initiatives are.
