About me, the author and the trainer

My name is Leszek Slazyk, born in Gdynia in 1967. I'm an educated polytologist, with a passionate publicist, by choice an entrepreneur.

I have been professionally active with China since 1994. I started my adventure with the mediate State with production supervision in factories in Shanghai, Suzhou, Shaoxing, Hangzhou. In the following years, I have acquired large experience in searching for and verifying producers, quality control of production throughout its process, appropriate formulation and enforcement of contracts and contracts, the usage of safe forms of payment, transport organisation, customs clearance supervision. For years I was liable for a comprehensive production organization for well-known and recognized Polish companies. In China, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, Ukraine, Serbia, Romania, Colombia.

In 2010 I launched a portal www.chiny24.com. in 2020, I created a podcast “China according to Leszek Ślazyk” following Karol Strya's suggestion. I am the author of the book “China according to Leszek Slazyk”, in which I share my insights collected during years worked in China. This book contains an addition devoted to the specifics of negotiations with Chinese contractors.

My latest book “China Fortress. Why we do not realize China” appeared on the publishing marketplace in February 2024.

I present in it modern China, I effort to explain why we do not realize the Chinese contemporary and besides to bring their importance to the world, to Poland, as the largest production possible on the globe scale.

As a individual who knows Chinese economical realities (crossing social, political) I am invited by the media,

universities, institutions, organisations to participate both in the discussions on modern China and in the work on building economical relations with the PRC. I am the author of a survey commissioned by the Polish Government entitled “The possible of Polish Digital Economy in relation to and based on the Digital Ecosystem of the People's Republic of China”.
