On 11-12 June in ZEN.EXPO in Rzeszów-Jasionka will be held the legislature of safety of Poland – a nationwide forum devoted to the most crucial challenges facing the national safety strategy in conditions of dynamic geopolitical, technological and social changes.
The event was created under the direction of co-chairs of the Programme Council: Konrad Fijolek, president of the City of Rzeszów, Krzysztof Dyka, president of the Board of ComCERT, and Radosław Maćkiewicz, manager of the Central Centre of Computer Science. It was their experience and imagination of an integrated approach to safety that shaped the interdisciplinary nature of Congress, which combines defence, cybersecurity, infrastructure, social resilience and information policy.
Key issues concerning Poland's place in building Europe's security, the improvement of national defence industry, financing of defence projects, combating misinformation and the function of local governments and services in crisis management will be discussed. Public-private cooperation on e-security, including the protection of citizens' digital identity, will be an crucial topic.
The end of the first day will be the grand gala, during which the Diamond Shield Competition will be decided – distinguishing persons and institutions especially deserved for strengthening the safety of the country.
The second day of the legislature will open the subject of critical infrastructure protection, then the issues of communication safety and telecommunications, resilience of the financial sector and integration of dual-use technologies will be addressed. The talks will focus on energy safety issues and on the improvement of the possible of the aviation sector.
Congress in Rzeszów will become an area of substantive debate and cooperation for safe and modern Poland. It will enable the presentation of modern technologies, public-private partnership models and the construction of relations between administration, manufacture and the technological community.
