The French Ministry of wellness obliged hospitals to make emergency plans in case of war. By March 2026, institutions are to be able to accept and treat thousands of victims as part of activities carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence. This is simply a consequence to the Russian–Belarusian military exercises Zapad–2025, which will be attended by about 30,000 soldiers.
