The Romanian-Turkish program is gaining momentum. Production has begun

[In October of last year](https://defence24.pl/strong-armoured/Romania-buy-over-1000-Turkish-tactic vehicles) Romanian defence ministry reported the selection of Turkish tactical vehicle Cobra II in a tender for fresh armored cars in 4x4 system. At the end of November a contract was signed between Turkish company Otokar and Romanian company Romtehnika. Its value is set at EUR 857 million and implies the transportation of a full of 1059 tactical light armored vehicles to the contracting authority. Under its power, the first 278 wagons will be built in Turkey, while the remaining ones already in the ordering industry. transportation is expected to start in the last 4th of 2025 and last another 5 years.
