Russian multi-conductor thermobaric projectiles (called dense flame throwers there) TOS-2 were initially expected to have a scope of fire of about 6-10 km (using ammunition from its caterpillar forerunner in the form of a household of TOS-1 vehicles). In time, this value was to increase to 12 km due to the conclusions of actions in Ukraine, where the current importance of the strategy was besides low against threats specified as drones and anti-tank missiles operated by Ukrainians.
