The Russian went to prison due to the fact that he supported the Polish Caritas. Russian court: it's treason

27-year-old Evgeny Waraksin was sentenced by a Russian court to 12 years of penal colony for treason. According to Wyborcza.pl, the reason was a donation of PLN 100 transferred by a man in 2022 to Caritas Polska. Waraksin made a transfer erstwhile he lived in Poland. As he claimed, he wanted to support Ukrainian refugees in this way.
