During a conversation with journalists aboard the presidential aircraft Air Force One, Donald Trump revealed the consequence to his 50-day ultimatum, which he late issued to Russia. The US leader then demanded that the Russian Federation and Ukraine scope an agreement at that time and end the war. Trump admitted that he had not received any consequence from the Kremlin since then. In response, he shortened the time of the ultimatum to “10-12” days, and now reveals what will happen if Russia continues to ignore it.

The president of the United States informed in an interview with journalists aboard Air Force They said his 50-day ultimatum did not receive any answer from Moscow. Donald Trump stated that it was a "great pity" due to the fact that both countries (Russia and Ukraine) lose about 7,000 soldiers a week in the war.

A fewer days ago, Trump reduced his ultimatum to "10-12 days" due to a deficiency of consequence from the Kremlin and advancement in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. "Then we will impose sanctions and duties. I do not know whether this will affect Russia or not, due to the fact that he [Wladimir Putin – ed.] evidently wants the war to continue," said the president of the United States.

Trump is losing patience with Putin. It can respond even before the word ultimatum passes

Trump does not give details of the sanctions that the United States would impose on the Russian Federation after the ultimatum deadline has expired. He previously announced that these could be 100% duties, which would besides cover goods from countries that inactive buy Russian oil – including China and India.

Journalists asked the president of the United States about the possible increase in oil prices due to the announced actions. Trump stated that he was not afraid of this, as in specified a situation the United States could increase extraction and meet demand.

It is possible – which has happened many times – that Trump will not meet the contractual deadline of the abbreviated ultimatum. This may be confirmed by U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce, who said during a press conference earlier this week that Trump could decide on fresh sanctions earlier.
