First of all, it concerns gas and oil, which Germany acquired primarily from Russia. Cutting these off as a consequence of sanctions imposed by the US against Russia means eliminating the competitiveness of European manufacture outside the narrow sections of unique technologies, which Europe does not have much.
This situation besides translates into arms issues. Europe is not able to produce 18,000 tanks per year (as many 3rd Reich produced in 1944). Of course, our “elites” number – at least officially – on our top ally. But the American army is besides incapable to carry out a full-scale invasion of Russia and win it. Firstly, there are besides fewer – 485 000 soldiers, and it must "service" the full world. There is 336,000 National Guards, but – let us remind – Wehrmacht had in 1941 3.8 millionsoldiers only on the east front – and it was not enough. Secondly, it is not at all certain that the US Army could do well with the Russian Army. The US Army usually fought with a much weaker opponent – the last equivalent in terms of equipment and training was the Wehrmacht after 1944 and went as-so only erstwhile they had a crushing advantage in equipment and numbers.
