The 3rd place in the snowboarding planet Cup competition in the Austrian Bad Gastein won the st. wide special. Aleksandra Król-Walas. Gold was won by Italian Lucia Dalmasso and silver by Dutch Michelle Dekker.
In the Bad Gastein planet Cup competition program there was only a rivalry in a parallel slalom. Though a two-time bronze medalist of the planet championship in a slalom of parallel gigant S.A. Aleksandra Król-Walas does not specialize in this competition, but this did not prevent the typical “Army of Masters” win places in Austria on the cup podium. In the planet Cup competition she achieved this 12th time in her career, and the second time in Bad Gastein – on the Austrian slope she won the medal for the first time before 7 years erstwhile it took second place, besides in parallel slalom.
In this year's competition on the Austrian slope 58 contestants entered the qualification. 4 leading seats were taken by snowboarders who, after competing in the cup stage, reached a tiny and large final, i.e. races deciding the division of seats from the first to the fourth. The best time in qualification – 1 min 3.70 s – was obtained by Dutchwoman Michelle Dekker. Second place was taken by Swisswoman Julie Hänggi-Zogg (with a time of 1.03.73), 3rd – Italianwoman Lucia Dalmasso (1.04.05), and 4th Pole Alexander King-Walas (1.04.14). 2 another Polishmen were not qualified for the cup stage: Maria Bukowska-Chyc, which was classified as 24th and Olimpia Kwiatkowska (33.).
On the way to the tiny finals of st. s. spec. Aleksandra King-Walas first overtakes 4.21 s German Mathilda Scheid. In the 4th final she eliminated Italian Elisa Caffont – Polka was faster by 0.59 p. In the semi-finals, a CWZS snowboarder lost by 0.13 s to Dutch Dekker. The duel for promotion to the final was very exciting. The Dutch female at the halfway point had a 0.33 s advantage over Poland. In the second part of the route, the King-Walas was faster, but she failed to recover losses from the advanced section. In the race for 3rd place Polka to the semi-metallite besides did worse than her rival. Swiss Julie Hänggi-Zogg was ahead of CWZS typical by 0.83 p. In the lower part of the tour, however, the best of the White-Red went perfectly and was first at the finish line. Swiss lost to Polka by 0.39 p.
In the rivalry of men to the leading “16” no of the representatives of Poland were qualified. planet Champion of 2023 St. General Oskar Kwiatkowski It was placed in 34th position, Andrzej Gąsienica-Daniel on 45th, and St. Wier. Michał Nowaczyk did not finish his journey. The gold medal was won by Italy's Maurizio Bormolini, silver Bulgarian Alexander Kraszniak, and bronze American Cody Winters.
In the second competition at Bad Gastein – a squad parallel slalom – the Italian couple, Aaron March and Lucia Dalmasso, triumphed. The second place was taken by the Swiss – Dario Caviezel and Julie Hänggi-Zogg. The bronze medal was won by Austrians Christoph Karner and Jessica Pichelkastner. Polish representatives in squad competition did not compete.
