Nearly 140 soldiers of the 6th Mazovian Territorial Defence Brigade will make a solemn military oath next Saturday. The solemn oath will be held in the square close the church in Nieznamierowice - for the inhabitants of the village it will be the first specified event.
The basic training of recently incarnate soldiers of the 6th Mazovian Territorial Defence Brigade is coming to an end. Nearly 140 volunteers from confederate Mazovia participated in primary training on a continuous and weekend basis.
The culmination of intensive training will be the military oath, which will take place on the eve of the anniversary of the death of the patron of the Brigade – the captain Witold Pilecki, murdered on May 25, 1948 in the Mokotov prison. The ceremony of swearing in fresh 6MBOT soldiers will begin at 3 p.m. in Nieznamierowice. The celebration will be preceded by Mass held in the local parish church of St. Andrew the Apostle.
The 6th Mazovian Territorial Defence Brigade swears a full of nearly 140 volunteers - participants of basic training conducted both on a continuous and weekend basis. It is worth noting, however, that under the current recruitment there was besides a compensatory training for reservists, who have the military oath behind them, and “Eight” has become an chance for them to refresh the cognition gained so far.
The 6th Mazovian OT Brigade will be prepared for the participants of the oath, where you can talk to the soldiers about the service and the rules of recruitment for formation. The persons afraid will be able to apply for appointment on the spot. Military enthusiasts will have the chance to get acquainted with military equipment utilized in the Brigade.
However, before soldiers take a military oath, they must undergo basic training completed by a tactical loop - an intensive test of cognition and applicable skills acquired during training. During “sixteen” soldiers learn the basics of the soldier's craft – the handling of weapons, the rules of tactics, first aid in the field of combat and field movement. Values specified as discipline, cooperation and commitment are besides shaped. Training is the first contact with the military for many, but from the first day onwards, they have been built knowing that wearing a uniform is not only an honor but besides an obligation.
It is not easy, but that is the point – military service is not comfort, it is responsibility. For me, it's primarily an expression of patriotism. I want to be ready to defend my household and my country erstwhile needed - says 1 of the trainees.
