The European Green Deal foresees deep social and property transformations, but prof. Władysław Mielczarski, an energy expert, fears that many people may not be able to meet strict requirements, which could consequence in expropriation. Ironically, it notes that the objectives of green manufacture policy could even require leaving conventional shelter houses.

The "Banker" portal highlights the advanced costs associated with the implementation of the European Green Deal and the pursuit of climate neutrality by 2050. The evaluation of the service suggests that EU action alone will not produce the expected results, or even undermine the competitiveness of the European economy and contribute to impoverishment of society. According to EDGAR, in 2022 the EU was liable for 6.67% of global greenhouse gas emissions compared to 29.16% of China, 11.19% of the US and 7.33% of India.

In addition, more and more energy companies say that achieving global climate neutrality can hold by at least a decade, by 2060, due to the low profitability of decarbonisation projects and the reluctance of customers to bear higher costs. Prof. Władysław Mielczarski emphasises that the policy of the European Green Deal is not only very costly, but besides impossible due to unrealistic objectives.

“If you wanted to do this, you would gotta shut down the full industry, and people would gotta decision out of their homes to tents. I'm ironic, but that's how it looks," says prof. Mielec. He pointed out that "European Green Deal will be peculiarly costly for poorer European countries, including Poland".

"For example, Germany will become somewhat mediocre by the European Green Deal, but Poles will lose even half of the income it counts per person. This will mean pauperisation of societies in the EU. In addition, the failure of competitiveness of European manufacture will rapidly progress," the prof. estimates. He adds that the Green Deal is an EU thought that the remainder of the planet does not care about and alternatively focuses on development, unlike the Union.

"European Green Deal will origin social and property changes. Many people will not be able to adapt to strict standards. And they will be expropriated," said prof. Mielec.

"Maybe they'll gotta decision to any cliques in blocks from a large record. And their property will be taken over by large corporations. Let's look at Ukraine, where there are immense farms. but they don't belong to Ukrainians. They belong to multinationals. It is hard to separate issues of further economical improvement from politics," the prof. added.

According to the forecasts in the study "We are unpacking RePowerEU. Direction for healthy and energy-friendly homes" developed by PORT PC and think-tank Institute of Reform, out of 6.3 million single-family homes in Poland, 1.7 million have no thermal insulation on the walls, and another 347 1000 have a very low level of warming.

In addition, according to the latest EU Directive, which has already been approved by the European Parliament, in 4 years' time homeowners will not be able to install gas boilers and from 2040 it will not be possible to usage them at all.

Confederate politicians inform against the provisions of the alleged Building Directive, which aims to accomplish zero-emission of buildings. “I can imagine that the right to usage the building can be lost,” says Anna Bryłka.
