Krakow's president Aleksander Miszalski reacted powerfully to the actions of the PiS MP. He published an authoritative letter in which he accused Anna Krupka of lying and manipulating and besides announced the consequences.
"Your outrageous behaviour does not number with the full function of the MP at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. You are cynically utilizing the obtained mandate of public trust to sow hatred, antagonize citizens and produce primitive propaganda calculated solely to accomplish a short-sighted political gain," Miszalski wrote.
He besides added that if the associate does not apologize publically for misleading the public, she would mention the proposal to the Marshal of the Sejm, Simon Holowna, to examine the case by the Committee on Ethics. "Let us not let lies and manipulation to spread in public space!" the president of Krakow appealed.
What did Anna Krupka do? The PiS messenger has no intention of apologizing
The movie published by Anna Krupka shows a group of young people with suitcases, traversing Krakow Street at night. A PiS MP covered the material with a signature: "No, it's not a trip. They are migrants brought under cover of night."
The recording was actually made for the needs of the "Original Center", an initiative to draw attention to problems related to mass tourism in Krakow and the sound caused by visitors trying to get to hotels and apartments.
After a wave of criticism and allegations that a PiS MP is spreading fake news online, Krupka's entry disappeared from her social media. On April 23, erstwhile asked on the seismic corridors about the situation she denied and answered, among others, that "it was her co-worker who posted specified an entry". TVN24 journalists stressed that the post was, had scope and was seen by many people. They asked why she did it and whether she was going to apologize for trying to hunt migrants. They didn't get an answer.
It's not the first time PiS "plays migrants"
This is not the first time that the issue of migrants appears in the transmission of the Law and Justice. In the election run before the last parliamentary election, the organization played intensely with fear of refugees.
In the election place of the PiS candidate for president Karol Nawrocki, there were besides suggestions that Poland is threatened by "foreigners". There we see a group of dark-skinned people waiting at the bus halt – as TVN24 established, they are legal workers who have lived and worked in our country for years.
The scare trend continues with PiS MP Anna Krupka. She made available on social media material that had nothing to do with migration, but a politician gave a communicative about "night-swinging" illegal visitors.
