President Karol Nawrocki will not meet with Prime Minister Viktor Orban during his visit to Hungary, said the head of the global Policy Office Marcin Przycz. The decision is translated by a Friday visit by the Hungarian leader in Moscow, where politics adopted Vladimir Putin.

"President Karol Nawrocki consistently advocates seeking real ways to end the war in Ukraine caused by the Russian Federation," the BPM president noted.

"Referring in its policy to the legacy of president Lech Kaczyński, who stressed that Europe's safety depends on solidarity, including in the field of energy, in connection with the visit made by Prime Minister Viktor Orban to Moscow and its context, president K. Nawrocki decided to limit the programme of his visit to Hungary only to the summit of the Visegrad Group presidents in Ostrzyhomi" - said Produkt.

The head of the global Policy Bureau noted that Nawrocki "will discuss safety and cooperation in the region of Central Europe in partnership with the president of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary".

In May the Russian Federation resumed criminal proceedings against president Karol Nawrocki. At the beginning of 2022, after the Russian Federation's aggression to Ukraine, Dr. Karol Nawrocki asked the local authorities to remove russian propaganda objects, communist relics of enslavement present in the Polish public space.

Since then, the Institute of National Memory, cooperating with local governments, removed 42 of the 60 russian propaganda facilities. These actions met with the Kremlin's hostile reaction. Karol Nawrocki was placed on the list of persons wanted by the Russian prosecutor. He's facing 5 years in prison.
