Poland applied for EUR 45 billion from the SAFE Fund

"We want the money from this fund to strengthen the key capabilities of the Polish Army and our safety programs, including the Tarcza East programme. We have collected projects for an awesome amount of about EUR 45 billion, but how much money we will yet receive will depend on the amount of applications and the allocation of funds by the EC among the associate States. The acquisition of these funds is simply a real investment in the safety and improvement of our arms industry. This is besides strengthening the security, deterrence and defence of the full EU and NATO" - the Deputy Prime Minister sent through X.
