The Minister of Culture Hanna Wróblewski gave an interview in which she spoke about plans to evacuate works of art from Poland in the event of Russia's invasion. The politician stated that she was having talks with abroad partners, to which the cultural goods are to go during the war.
The message came in a conversation with the Financial Times, which indicates that for evacuation plans responds to the erstwhile Deputy Head of Military Counterintelligence Service, Colonel Maciej Matysiak. "We needed a individual who worked in the military, in defence, but besides knows about crisis management" - noted the Minister of Culture.
According to Hanna Wróblewski evacuation planning is essential due to the fact that Polish museums can no longer operate on the basis of the "the theoretical concept of security".
