On 26 November, the Council of Ministers announced a decision to open negotiations with the Swedish Government and the shipyard [Saab Kockums](https://defence24.pl/industry/Swedish-supplier-orki-we are waiting-on-start-negotiation) for the acquisition of submarines [Project A26](https://defence24.pl/industry/orka-po-Swedish-submarine-and-26-in-specific-analysis) for the Polish Navy. Of course, until the conclusion of the intergovernmental agreement in this case, it will not be possible to talk about the breakthrough in [the Orka programme](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/sad-day-for-orki-kot-supply-Polish-submarine). However, Warsaw's dialog with Stockholm is significant.
