The event began at 10:30 p.m. Holy Mass in the Church of the Holy Cross, and then, at 12:00 p.m., a march started from the monument of Nicholas Copernicus. He is accompanied by music, including polonaise, and shouts: "Republic!" and the celebrated slogan "Don't Fear Tusk!". Participants march with white and red flags.
Many sympathizers of Law and Justice and leading politicians of the organization appeared in the crowd, who post entries on the X platform encouraging participation in the event. Piotr Michalski, a Wirutal writer in Poland, noted in his post that "hundreds of couples dance polonaza". Let us callback that 1 of the objectives of this event is to break the evidence of the number of couples dancing this dance.
PiS politicians hit Tusk. Karol Naworcki besides appeared on the March
Jarosław Kaczyński, who announced the event a fewer weeks ago, appeared on the march around noon. He is accompanied, among others, by erstwhile Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Joanna Lichocka, Marlena Maląg, Daniel Obietek, Robert Telus and expected by PiS voters – Karol Nawrocki. Patryk Jaka is leading the march proudly.
"It is simply a large march of pride, past and identity. We are here together – for the past, for the future! – wrote PiS MEP Marlena Maląg. "All Poland goes together – in 1 direction, with 1 heart. It will be a beautiful day!" added Robert Telus.
Karol Nawrocki, a candidate of the Law and Justice for President, spoke to journalists that present he is primarily acting as the president of the IPN. "It is amazing that the administration of the Polish state, headed by Donald Tuski, does not recognise the 1000 years of the Polish Crown as something crucial and valuable," he said. “It is simply a shame that the Prime Minister did not organize specified ceremonies,” he added.
Tough Critic of Trzaskovsky
On site, the crowd has staff from tv Republic who ask participants about Friday's presidential debate. Many people are dissatisfied with the fact that Rafał Trzaskowski did not appear in the debate organised by their station.
– He's a coward. He was afraid of the questions of the Republic – said 1 of the participants of the march. Another added: – If Trzaskowski wins, it will be a drama. He will sale Poland to Germany.
The event is inactive ongoing, and more PiS sympathizers are gathering.
