President Karol Nawrocki made his first national visit present after his oath, visiting Kalisz. During the gathering with residents, he signed a bill on the implementation of the investment Central Communication Port. The paper in the form of a presidential initiative will now go to the Sejm.
During the election campaign, Karol Nawrocki announced that he would present Draft Act inspired by the citizens' initiative on CPK. Almost 200 000 people signed up to the citizens' proposal. The task provided for the government's commitment to carry out the investment in the form set out in the 2023 Resolution of the Council of Ministers, without limiting the projects accompanying the airport and without reducing the plans to grow the railway network. However, the paper was not passed and was stuck in the parliamentary work.

The president pointed out that he saw his role, among others, in mobilising the government to implement the investment efficiently. In his speech Nawrocki recalled that the first task CPK was intended to give impetus to the economical improvement of the country.
He added that only ambitious projects can guarantee Poland's competitiveness towards the economies of Western Europe.
– Our hopes and Dreams They are closed in the Central Communication Port, which was to build the Polish budget, our economic, economical and Polish strength as a buying and communication centre throughout Europe," he said.
In closing his speech, the president recalled that he had competed as a citizen candidate. He declared that he would not let the vote of citizens to be omitted, and appealed to Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Marshal Simon Holownia for a substantive discussion on the project.
