On 8 August 2025, president Donald Trump, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Paszynian and president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a peace agreement ending decades of conflict. This paper can fundamentally transform the regional trade arrangement and affect the balance of power between Washington, Moscow, Ankara and Tehran.
