This year's edition, organised by the Ministry of Defence under the supervision of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerini Güçlendirme Vakfı; TSKGV) and supported by the Defence manufacture Bureau (Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı; SSB), was not only about presenting fresh technologies, but mainly about spreading an crucial message: **Turkey is no longer a customer, but a competitor and exporter of military power**.
