New transportation of lobster-K

In fresh days we have adopted another 9 modules of multi-guided lobster-K rocket launchers. After integration with Polish chassis, the fresh launchers will power our troops – informed Deputy Minister of defence Paweł Bejda on social media.

The Armed Forces Agency reports that there are already over 100 lobsters in the country. any of them went to the Polish Army's linear units, any inactive undergoing “polonization”. South Korean K239 Chunmoo – in Poland called Homar-K – are embedded on Jelcza 882.57 chassis with 8x8. This process takes place at Huta Stalowa Wola. Launchers are besides equipped with Polish fire control strategy Topaz.

The Polish Army bought a full of 290 Hanwha Aerospace launcher modules. The last executive agreement was concluded in April 2024 and assumes transportation of 72 modules rocket launchers with logistics and training package.

The K239 Chunmoo multi-guided rocket launcher strategy can launch respective different guided or unguided rocket missileswhich are contained in 2 trays. In each of them, depending on the ammunition used, six 239 mm guided rockets with a scope of 80 km or 1 607 mm tactical guided rocket with a scope of 290 km.

The Armed Forces of Poland are 1 of 4 (beside South Korea, Saudi Arabia and the United arabian Emirates) users of this strategy worldwide. The lobster-K were equipped with 16 and 18 Mechanized Division. Next year, the launchers will besides scope the recently formed 1st Legion Infantry Division.
