A dangerous event involving a drunk driver occurred in Śrema on the night of 25-26 May. A 39-year-old Ukrainian citizen, leading Volkswagen, hit a parked car and fence, causing crucial damage. Police stopped an intoxicated man who had 2 fertilising alcohol blood.
What precisely happened?
At midnight, the police on work received a study of a collision at Glinki Street. As determined by officers from the Patrol and Intervention Cell, the VW driver tried to make a turn, but due to his drinking state he lost control of the vehicle. As a result:
- hit the parked Seat Ibizawho then collided with Peugeot,
- damaged the fence,
- After the incident, he parked under his house, hoping to avoid consequences.
Serious consequences for the driver
Man not only lost his driving licencebut besides went to police detention. He is facing criminal liability for driving in an intoxicated state, which according to Article 178a(1) of the Criminal Code It can end even imprisonment up to 2 years.

- Respond erstwhile you see a drunk driver – notify the police (tel. 997 or 112).
Remember! Drinking is simply a crime that can end in tragedy.
