There are 2 candidates left in the square. Civic Coalition Politician Rafał Trzaskowski (received 31.36 percent of votes) and supported by the Law and Justice Karol Nawrocki (29.54 percent). After the second round, 1 of them will take over the most crucial office in the country. He will join narrow group of presidents in the 3rd Polish Republic.
Presidential election. 30 years ago the first re-election
The list opens Wojciech Jaruzelski, erstwhile Head of State in the times of the Polish People's Republic, General of the Polish Army and Secretary of the Polish Army. He was chosen in a different way than his successors - The National Assembly selected it. This was the consequence of compromises concluded by communists with the solidarity camp after democratic transformations in Poland.

Subsequent elections, held in late 1990, were already the first general election. The leader of "Solidarity" (and a peaceful Nobel laureate from 1983) triumphed after 2 tours. Lech Wałęsa. Kwasniewski, at the end of the Polish People's Republic Minister and president of the Polish Olympic Committee (1988-1991), and later MP, was First president of the 3rd Republic of Polandelected for 2 terms. The election in 2000, so far as the only election in the 3rd Poland, ended in the first circular (the vote for Alexander Kwasniewski gave 53.9% of voters).
Andrzej Duda. Another two-seat president

Duda won re-election in 2020, becoming the second president of the 3rd Republic of Poland, who succeeded hold office for 2 terms of office. He then defeated Rafał Trzaskowski, who now again stands for the highest office in the state.
