
Karol Nawrocki in a Friday interview on tv Republic stated that "he has circumstantial obligations towards Poles and his plan will not wait". He besides added that "he started his duties as president of Poland from 7 August".
On Wednesday, Nawrocki took an oath before the National Assembly, after which he formally assumed the office of president of Poland. On Thursday he appeared in Kalisz and on Friday in Kolbuszowa. In the second of these places there was a conversation with tv Republika.
– I started my duties as president of Poland on 7 August, I have circumstantial obligations towards Poles, I have my taxation contract and “Plan 21” – he will not wait – said Karol Nawrocki in a Friday interview.
– Although there is simply a full word of office for its implementation, but I want to carry out my commitments from the first day, so further initiatives of the laws go to the Polish Sejm and the voice of Poles and Poles – 10.5 million voters voted for the programme 21 – I propose to the Polish parliament solutions to many problems in today's Republic of Poland – he added.
Nawrocks about relations with Germany
A minute later, the fresh president was asked whether he would search to arrange relations with Germany. – I treat our western neighbours and Chancellor of Germany as our partners – and in the European Union, and in the North Atlantic Alliance. We have a common border, there are many things we should talk about – he said.
