
Next week, Karol Nawrocki will be sworn in as the next president of Poland. Meanwhile, the president-elect is busy and is already trying to implement his fresh duties. Nawrocki's spokesman, Rafał Leśkiewicz, revealed that the future president of Poland had a conversation with the leader of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski. Nawrocki was to emphasize the unresolved historical issues that stay the bones of disagreement between our countries. The president-elect is demanding that these cases be closed.
A press spokesperson for Karol Nawrocki informed on social media about the telephone conversation by president Elek with Ukrainian leader. Rafał Leśkiewicz revealed what the president of Ukraine and the future president of Poland discussed.
First of all, according to Leśkiewicz, Nawrocki assured Zeleński about further support of Warsaw for Kiev in the issue of defence against the Russian invasion.
"Russia is simply a neo-imperial and colonial state ruled by a war criminal, Vladimir Putin. So, fighting against the Kremlin regime, Ukraine can number on the support of Poland" wrote Nawrocki's spokesperson on the declaration that was to fall in conversation with Zelenski.
At the same time, the President-elect stressed that there are very crucial and inactive unresolved issues between our countries. This is, of course, about historical policy and the exhumation of victims of the Volyn massacre.
"Karol Nawrocki stressed that he is the voice of the Nation, who demands a change in Ukraine's approach to crucial and yet unresolved historical matters. This should change," said Leśkiewicz.
On social media, Volodymyr Zelenski besides informed about a joint conversation with Nawrocki. However, the Ukrainian president did not mention a passage on historical politics, focusing on the issue of aid to his country and the fresh bombings of Ukrainian cities by the Russians.
