President-elect Karol Nawrocki announced that he intended to introduce crucial changes in the value of pensions. Media information indicates that the bill is due to go to the Sejm in August.

According to fresh government forecasts, next year's valorization will amount to 4.9%, which would translate into a simplification in the benefit by PLN 92.07. Nawrocki's proposal assumes a minimum increase of PLN 150, which would rise the lowest pension to PLN 2028.91 gross.
