Karol Nawrocki can breathe relief – according to an exit poll, a citizen candidate supported by the Law and Justice won 29.1% of the vote and passes to the 2nd circular of the presidential election. It will face Rafał Trzaskowski, who was supported by 30.8% of voters.


On the evening of May 18, 2025, after 21:00, the exit poll poll showed that Karol Nawrocki in the 1st circular of the presidential election won 29.1% of the vote. However, this consequence did not safe his victory, as he did not exceed the required threshold of 50% of support.

A second circular of elections will so be essential to elect the head of state. civilian candidate supported by the Law and Justice will face Rafał Trzaskowski in it. According to the exit poll, the president of Warsaw, who competed as a candidate for the Civic Coalition, won 30.8% of the votes.

Rafał Trzaskowski: 30.8%.

Karol Nawrocki: 29.1%.

Sławomir Mentzen: 15.4%.

Grzegorz Braun: 6.2 percent.

Adrian Zandberg: 5.2 percent.

Simon Holovnia: 4.8 percent.

Magdalena Biejat: 4.1 percent.

Krzysztof Stanowski: 1.3%.

Joanna Senyszyn: 1.3%.

Marek Jakubiak: 0.8 percent.

The second circular of the presidential election was scheduled for June 1, 2025. The vote will be preceded by voter silence, which will start at midnight from 30 to 31 May (night from Friday to Saturday).

In the context of attendance during the first circular (18 May), The State Electoral Commission announced at 5:00 p.m. that 50.69 percent of the right to vote had gone to the polls. According to the exit poll, the full attendance on that day was 66.8 percent.
