A teacher from Gdansk advanced School said goodbye to her son. "He died in the conflict for Ukraine's freedom"

The war in Ukraine has been going on for more than 3 years, with fresh victims of the conflict launched by Russia each day. 1 of the Gdańsk advanced schools reported that the boy of 1 of the teachers was killed at the front.


Russia's invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. Recently, European leaders issued a joint message in consequence to reports of president Donald Trump's planned gathering with Vladimir Putin. They said they were behind Ukraine.

This is how president Volodymyr Zelenski responded: "The end of the war must be fair, I am grateful to all who stand on the side of Ukraine and our nation present in the name of peace in Ukraine, which means defending the vital interests of the safety of our European nations."

Every day, people die as a consequence of this conflict. 1 of the schools in Gdańsk gave a sad message.

Son of a teacher of Gdańsk advanced School died in the war

The announcement appeared on the profile of the 9th General advanced School in Gdańsk on Saturday evening, August 9. "We share with deep sadness the painful news that has reached our school community," we read.

"In the fight for the freedom of Ukraine, the boy of our teacher, Julia Haritoniuk – Władysław Petrovich Haritoniuk, a soldier and defender of the homeland, died" was given.

The school's board and teachers have expressed their condolences to Julia and her household after this "irreparable loss". "Eternal Memory for the Hero" – these words finished the entry.

A teacher about her son's death: "How it hurts"

Ms. Julia Haritoniuk besides published a post on social media in which she personally said goodbye to her son. "Vlad, you will always be in our hearts... How does it hurt... As we all will live without you..." – she wrote. She posted the entry on Thursday.

On Saturday, she released photos of Władysław, adding, "I think Vlad's comrades have nothing against the publication of these photographs. This is how you will stay in our memory - young and smiling". The teacher besides announced that she would shortly supply information regarding her son’s funeral.
