Drone wall on the east border without EU support

The decision of the European Commission not to grant additional funds for the implementation of the ‘drone wall’ was addressed by the head of the Estonian Ministry of Interior Igor Taro’s ERR interview. According to him, this decision will not importantly affect the improvement of this task for the defence of Estonia. "**The government has the means to do so**, and the actions related to the detection of drones on the east border of the country will begin by the end of 2027," he announced.
