Russian president Vladimir Putin during his last gathering with the US President's envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed Moscow's readiness to resume negotiations with Kiev without preliminaries, stated Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Pieskov.
According to him, Putin has “talked about it many times.”
Steve Witkoff visited Russia for the 4th time in 3 months. During his last visit (25 April) he was accepted by Putin. The talk in the Kremlin lasted 3 hours.
US president Donald Trump announced that most of the provisions of the future peace agreement are already agreed, and Moscow and Kiev are close to signing this document.
According to Washington's assurances, the key to the resolution of the conflict will be presentweek.
