Morawiecki beat Nawrocki. This poll will give Kaczyński reason to think

The latest survey conducted by Opana24 commissioned by Radio ZET provides interesting conclusions on the perception of leading Law and Justice (PiS) politicians in the context of possible crises that Poland can face.

The survey included 3 figures: erstwhile Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, current presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki and erstwhile national defence minister Mariusz Błaszczak. The results of the poll show increasing support for Morawiecki, especially in the face of the economical crisis.

Economic crisis: Morawiecki in the lead

In the script of the large economical crisis in Europe, 19% of those surveyed indicated that Mateusz Morawiecki would do best as president. Karol Nawrocki obtained 9% of indications and Mariusz Błaszczak only 4%.

Among the voters of PiS Morawiecki enjoys even greater support – 42% of them pointed out him as the best candidate in the face of the economical crisis, while Nawrocki supported 18% and Błaszczak 3%.

However, as many as 41% of respondents believe that no of these politicians could meet this challenge.

Response to possible Attack: Shared Opinions

In the case of a hypothetical attack on Poland, the views of the respondents were more varied. Mateusz Morawiecki and Karol Nawrocki obtained 11% of the indications, while Mariusz Błaszczak received 9%.

However, as many as 39% of those surveyed said that no of these politicians could handle specified a situation, and 13% believe that each of them would do the same.

Inflow of refugees: Morawiecki and Nawrocki on equal footing

In the face of the mass influx of refugees to Poland, both Karol Nawrocki and Mateusz Morawiecki received 11% of support among respondents. Mariusz Błaszczak received 7% of the indications.

However, 38% of those surveyed believe that no of these politicians could handle this situation, and 14% say that each of them would do the same.

Inflow of immigrants from outside Europe: No clear leader

In the script of influx of immigrants from non-European countries, Mateusz Morawiecki received 12% of the support, Karol Nawrocki 10% and Mariusz Błaszczak 6%.

However, 40% of respondents said that no of these politicians could handle this situation, and 16% believe that each of them would do the same.

Recognition of politicians: Morawiecki at the head, Nawrocki behind

It is worth noting the level of designation of individual politicians. According to the poll Opinion24 for ZET Radio Mateusz Morawiecki is 1 of the most recognizable politicians in Poland, with a score of 98%. Karol Nawrocki is at the end of the designation ranking, which may affect his lower ratings in polls on possible crises.

Conclusions: Morawiecki gains from experience

Analyzing the results of the survey, you can see that Mateusz Morawiecki is gaining support, especially in the context of the economical crisis, which may be related to his experience as a erstwhile Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

Karol Nawrocki, although he is simply a candidate of the PiS for president, has lower recognition, which may affect his lower ratings in the polls. Mariusz Błaszczak, despite acting as Minister of National Defence, is not highly supported in any of the scenarios analysed.
