Monika Jabłońska–Chodakiewicz awarded the Gold Cross of Merit

President Andrzej Duda awarded Monika Jabłońska-Chodakiewicz, the author of a biography of St. John Paul II and a popularizer of cognition about the Polish Pope in the USA, the Gold Cross of Merit for outstanding services in promoting the thought, teaching and heritage of St. John Paul II and for her activities on behalf of trade unions. On behalf of the president, the decoration was presented yesterday at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw by Andrzej Dera, Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the president of the Republic of Poland.
