MON responds: there is no and there will be no Railway Army in Poland

Question: Is it worth recreating in Poland, specialised, “rail” military units appeared during the discussion in the panel entitled “Military mobility with support for the defence of Poland and NATO” organized during the Defence24 DAYS conference on 6-7 May 2025. Arkadiusz Ignasiak, the president of the Management Board of OnTrain, has revealed that while on the Supervisory Board of PKP, he spoke, among others, "enoughly about creating any unit of Territorial Defence Army, which will be typically trained to safe railway transport".
